Tuna Tartare Recipe


Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb super fresh tuna steak diced into 1/4" cubes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 lime, zest and juice
  • 1/2 t wasabi powder
  • 1 T soy sauce (I use low sodium)
  • 1 T hot sauce
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup minced scallions
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced into 1/4" cubes
  • 1/2 T sesame seeds

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients from olive oil to scallions.

2. Pour over tuna and mix well.

3. Carefully mix in avocado and let sit in refrigerator for an hour or two for flavors to blend.

4. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
